Cable Guy™ is an advanced, professional cable testing tool that no lighting designer or stage tech can afford to be without. Its easy to operate and can be used for testing a wide variety of common cable types including 3-pin XLR, 5-pin XLR, powerCON®, powerCON® TRUE1, HDMI, RJ45, and more. The two piece sender and receiver can even be separated to effectively test throughwall, wired connections.

Test with Ease With

Using the Cable Guy™ is as simple as plugging in a cable on each side. The device automatically loops through the possible connections, and the status is displayed via the LEDs. If the LEDs on both sides match, that indicates successful continuity. Mismatched or unlit LEDs signal that there is a problem with the cable.
